A little bit of background on our teachers:

Gypsy Charms: Indisputably the UK’s foremost expert on Strip Tease, Miss Gypsy Charms is doyenne of the form in practice, on paper and in the classroom. After a lifetime in dance including vocations in teaching aerobics and erotic dance, her university degree in Film, her postgraduate studies in First-Wave Feminism, her socio-political involvement in women’s rights issues and her PhD thesis on the feminine erotic in history, there can be no doubt of Gypsy’s charms.

As well as a celebrated boffin, Gypsy is also an established burlesque comedienne, fan dancer and classic strip-tease artiste in her own right.

Viva Misadventure: As a professional international showgirl, Viva has high-kicked her way across the world as a performer and teacher. From a decade of international adventures, Viva can-canned in Paris, dazzled Bollywood stars in India, cruised the ports of the Mediterranean and tangoed her way through South America.

Now based back home in the heart of Britain’s showbiz world, Viva continues to embrace her passion for dance and entertainment, bringing burlesque and cabaret to new audiences and participants.

Viva is also an established burlesque artiste and fully acrobatic CanCan troupe mistress.
